Simple Trick-or-Treat Bag Crochet Pattern

This just might be the easiest crochet pattern for a trick-or-treat bag ever. To make this bag we are only using the double crochet stitch which makes it the perfect Halloween pattern for beginner crocheters.

For this pattern we are using the new Be Witched yarn from Herrschners. This is a fun, worsted weight acrylic yarn that comes in a bunch of wonderful colorways.

You could also use a solid worsted weight yarn, or make a color block version with multiple colors. Change colors every few rows, and maybe even an ombre effect? You could use a cotton such as Craft Cotton or Dishie to make it super sturdy. You could also use this bag pattern to make a market bag to go to the farmer’s market or grocery store, so use whatever color you want! Brava would also be a nice option.
